About us:

The nursery is owned and managed by Diane Brown who has over 20 years experience in childcare.

• The Opening hours: Monday to Friday all year round
• Full Day Session: 8.00 am to 6.00 pm
• Morning Session: 8.00 am to 1.00 pm
• Afternoon Session: 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm
• Fixed Holidays: 2.5 days at Christmas and 2.5 days at New Year
• Maximum Number of children: 54

The Outside Play Area

This area is used daily to promote physical development. Our climbing frame is a fantastic piece of equipment where children can attempt various skills. We also provide water play, sand, planting and other various opportunities outdoors.

 

 

 

 

 

The Nursery

• was established in 1997
• is are registered by the care commission and are inspected regularly to ensure continuity of care.
• works in partnership with Edinburgh Council and provide pre school education which is fund assisted
• is also inspected by HMI (Her Majesties Inspectorate) ensuring curriculum education is being fully offered.
• cares for children from 3 months to 8 years of age
• staff are all trained in curriculum planning , first aid and child protection as well as childcare
• A diary is offered for our babies to allow parents full information on how their day has been.
• A daily sheet is provided for Tweenies and Toddlers. Staff are given the opportunity to speak to parents everyday. Parent's evenings are also on offer.
• has CCTV security system and intercom in each playroom
• has wheelchair access
• now provides a breakfast club for children up to 8 years of age who attend Towerbank Primary School

Searching for childcare for our precious only child did not have to end on a certain date. We would take as long as need be, to find somewhere or someone we were completely happy with. We have been at Little Vip's over a year now and our child is emerging as a confident, enthusiastic, energetic toddler.
